Frequently Asked Questions

New Boats

  • All our new boats come with full manufacturer warranties from brands like Skeeter and Vexus. This typically includes a limited lifetime structural hull warranty and specific component warranties. Additionally, your outboard motor is covered by the engine manufacturer’s warranty (e.g., Yamaha or Mercury). We handle the registration and documentation to ensure you’re covered from day one.

  • es! We work with First Premier Bank to offer competitive rates and flexible terms. Our goal is to make your dream boat fit your budget.

  • Absolutely. If we don’t have the specific model, color, or layout you’re looking for on the floor, we can sit down with you to build a custom order. We’ll walk you through every option—from electronics to upholstery—to ensure the boat is built exactly to your specifications.

  • We love rewarding our new boat owners. When you purchase a boat from Downstream Marine, we offer “New Owner Packages” that include discounts on essential gear like life jackets, anchors, and dock lines, as well as preferred pricing on electronics upgrades and rigging at the time of purchase. Manufacturers may also run seasonal promotions, which we pass along whenever available. All custom rigging is completed at the time of purchase with no additional labor charges.

  • Yes, we offer professional delivery services. We also provide an in-house walkthrough at the dealership upon delivery to make sure you’re comfortable with all the features of your new vessel.

Used Boats

  • While used boats are typically sold “as-is,” many of our late-model pre-owned boats may still have transferable factory warranties remaining.

  • Every used boat that hits our lot undergoes a rigorous multi-point inspection. Our technicians check engine compression, electronics, plumbing, and structural integrity to ensure that when you hit the water, there are no surprises.

  • Yes, delivery services are available for our used inventory, just as they are for our new boats.

Trade-Ins

  • We accept most late-model fishing boats and pontoons. While we specialize in fishing platforms, we are happy to evaluate any clean, well-maintained vessel for trade-in value toward your next purchase.

  • We can provide a preliminary estimate based on high-quality photos and a detailed description (including engine hours, service history, and any known issues). However, a final, firm offer is subject to an in-person physical inspection by our service team to verify condition.
